Dr. Martinez has advanced training in sensory integration and processing and over a decade of clinical experience in pediatric practice in developing countries. She has a strong interest in increasing access to pediatric occupational therapy services for underserved populations. Her research interests reflect her practice in areas. Dr. Martinez is interested in researching, developing and evaluating pediatric programs and interventions in areas in which occupational therapy is emerging.
