Research interests
Dr. Castillo has been involved in multiple research projects. He has published a systematic review in the Journal of Orthopedic Trauma evaluating thousands of open tibia fractures. He Has also published an arthroscopic ankle technique in Techniques in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
He has also had projects presented at regional conferences including the Western Orthopedic Association annual meeting, Orthopedic Trauma Association annual meeting, and SOMOS annual meeting.
