Research interests
Dr. Kathleen Vincent is an Assistant Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology who specializes in Gynecologic Ultrasound and Women's Health Care. Dr. Vincent received her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She also completed a fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Vincent is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Ameriacan Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Vincent's clinical interest include Gynecologic Ultrasound and Ultrasound guided procedures. Her research interest include HIV and Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention, Application of Biomedical Engineering Technologies to Women's Health Care, High resolution endoscopic imaging, high resolution ultrasound imaging, and MicroCT.
Dr. Vincent has received several honors which include the "Golden Apple" Teaching Award.
