This project involves looking at Developmental Origins of Kidney Function In Early Life and Environmental Risks.

Dr. Altlntas and his lab will be responsible for:

  • Performing suPAR assays with full quality control or laboratory methods of 1000 infants at 4 time points: 3 collections during pregnancy and 1 at dellvery using cord blood.
  • Assisting in the analysis of the relationships between suPAR and renal outcomes
  • Assisting In the analysis of the Interaction between suPAR and environmental chemical exposures
  • Participating In regular meetings of the research team lo monitor progress of the proposed studies.
  • Assisting in preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, and progress reports
