Description

Neil K. Mehta, Associate Professor of Epidemiology at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), is the Multiple Principal Investigator and the Principal Investigator of the UTMB subaward of the research grant entitled "Ethnic Differences in Life Expectancy and Cognitively Healthy and Unhealthy Life Years after Stroke".

 

Dr. Mehta will contribute to achieving all three aims of the grant, which will involve an analysis of the existing BASIC data system on stroke outcomes in a bi-ethnic population of Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Mehta will provide expertise in the measurement of life expectancy after stroke and the measurement of cognitively healthy and unhealthy life years lived after stroke. He will also supervise a data analyst at UTMB.
