Description

Dr. Muhammad Amith will be co-Investigator of the subcontract to the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Amith will bring his expertise in ontology development with significant research publications detailing the development of ontologies for social behavior health and public health, including their demonstrative application to improve health information. In addition, Dr. Amith has extensive published research in analyzing consumer health datasets ranging from Reddit, Youtube, and other consumer social media resources which the Academy Health pilot grant calls for. Overall, Dr. Amith will engage in modeling and harmonizing of the datasets for Google Trends and big clinical datasets to enable linking and mapping of the information for analysis and usage by clinicians. In addition, Dr. Amith will also provide analytical support for the Google Trends datasets and will work with Dr. Roberts in that area.
