Data Procurement, Management and Access

• UTMB OBIOS will submit a reuse data user agreement to NCI for use of SEER-Medicare data including patients diagnosed with breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancer from 2000 to 2019.
• UTMB OBIOS will store and manage SEER-Medicare data in accordance with UTMB IS security policies, data use agreements, and other relevant guidelines and requirements.
  • Data management and Analytical Support
  • Analytical Cohort Development

• UTMB OBIOS biostatistician will conduct data management and support the development of the analytical cohorts under the supervision of Dr. Kuo.
  • Analytical Support for Aims 1 and 2

• UTMB OBIOS biostatistician will perform analyses following the study design developed by Drs. Liu and Kuo.
  • Project Management and Administration
  • Both Dr. Kuo and the biostatistician will participate the bi-weekly meetings with Dr. Liu.
  • Dr. Kuo will maintain regular contact with Dr. Liu to resolve any issues or concerns regarding project administration, financial, and management issues as needed.
