Acknowledging the GCC and the TPAMR training program in all publications on which the trainee is a co-author, resulting from any work or writing done during the TPAMR fellowship; this includes:

  • Manuscripts in which the trainee is a co-author that are published after the fellowship has ended., regardless of publication date: "Supported by a training fellowship from the Guff Coast Consortia, on the Texas Medical Center Training Program in Antimicrobial Resistance (TPAMR), (NIH Grant No. T32A/141349)". If text length is limited, then the reference to the Gulf Coast Consortia may be omitted.
  • Submitting the PDF file of the final manuscript accepted for publication and acquiring NIH PMCID # within three months of acceptance for all publications resulting from your fellowship research project, regardless of the actual publication date.
  • Interacting regularly with mentor (co-mentors, if applicable) at least monthly and preferably more frequently.
  • Attending the Friday afternoon "Keck Seminars" at the BioScience Research Collaborative Building.
  • Attending events held for trainees in your specific training program.
  • Completing the appropriate course at your institution (and approved by the Keck Center) on the Responsible Conduct of Research, and instruction in safety principles.
  • Presenting a poster on your fellowship research project at the Keck Center Annual Research Conference held each fall.
  • Meeting annually with the Training Program Director and your mentors to review research progress.
  • Completing the didactic courses assigned by the Training Program Director.
  • Encouraged to attend the TPAMR monthly trainee meetings beyond 2-year fellowship support.
  • Keeping the Pl and GCC staff updated on future positions, publications, awards and activities for a minimum of 15 years (as required by NIH training program RPPR and renewals).
