SonarMed add on study

Validate the measurement of ETT positioning by SonarMed compared to the goal standard CXR.

Objectives:

Primary:

• Gather pre-clinical differential CT data for neonatal population for FDA submission
• Evaluate regional ventilation distribution and correlation between differential CT and EIT scans at multiple belt planes using healthy and animal injured lung models

Secondary:

• Validate novel lung regions of interest contours and regional detection of pulmonary overdistension and collapse due to alveolar hyperinflation and atelectasis, respectively
• Evaluate ETT positioning by SonarMed as compared to CXR
• Evaluate ETT lumen obstruction detection as compared to CT scan
