Description

Dr. Muhammad “Tuan” Amith will be co-Investigator of the subcontract with the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Amith will bring his expertise in ontology development with significant research publications detailing the development of ontologies for social behavior health and public health, including their demonstrative application to improve health information. In addition, Dr. Amith has devoted his research effort over the last few years in developing knowledge engineering tools to mitigate some of the challenges for ontology development, specifically in ontology evaluation tools – OntoKeeper and Hootation. Overall, ontology development for the social behavioral knowledge bases and the provision and development of knowledge engineering tools will be his subject focus for the subcontract.
