Transformative Drugs to Prevent Osteoarthritis and Speed Recovery following Traumatic Joint Injury in Military and Civilian Populations

This research is a collaborative effort with the Ridgeline Therapeutics. Dr. Gugala will conduct and interpret microCT analyses of bone (femur and tibia) specimens to assess bone volume, mineral density, and microarchitecture. Dr. Gugala will also oversee the joint histology performed by the Research Histology Core Lab. Dr. Gugala will perform the proposed research in his laboratory at UTMB.
