Abstract

The final part of the neuro-ophthalmology clinical review covers a range of miscellaneous conditions that affect the eye and surrounding structures. It explores thyroid eye disease, myasthenia gravis, and internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO), highlighting their neuro-ophthalmic manifestations. Additionally, the chapter examines eyelid and facial contractions, sagging eye syndrome (SES), and chronic progressive external ophthalmoplegia (CPEO). Carotid-cavernous fistula (CCF) and cavernous sinus pathology are discussed for their impact on ocular function. Visual phenomena, primary headaches related to the eye, and electrophysiology are included to broaden the understanding of complex neuro-ophthalmic disorders. The chapter concludes with an exploration of Marcus Gunn jaw-winking syndrome, providing insights into its rare presentation.
