As a surgeon, determining your appropriate scope of practice and the roles involved is a difficult, nuanced, and personalized decision. Nonetheless, the decision can be guided by applying frameworks from the business and management worlds to effectively assess your micro-and macro-contexts and to elucidate your own personal and professional goals.
