Abstract

Although one might think this section is meant only for academic anesthesiologists, many of the lessons learned apply to private practice clinicians as well. As Dr. Kapur starts one of her stories, "The transition from resident to junior faculty can be a daunting and even scary transition-even if new faculty members do not verbalize it." The same can also be said for the transition from resident to private practice anesthesiologist.
