Abstract
Reacting enzyme sedimentation experiments were carried out to identify the active form of rabbit muscle phosphofructokinase in glycylglycine buffer at pH 8.55 and 23 ± 1 °C. Results from these experiments reveal one active form with s20,w = 12.2 ± 0.3 and 12.2 ± 0.3 S in a coupled enzyme and a pH-dependent dye linked system, respectively.
