Abstract

Cholangiocarcinoma is an uncommon tumor with a poor prognosis. Presenting symptoms are often nonspecific, and jaundice appears late in the disease course. Surgical resection and liver transplant are the potentially curative treatments. Palliation can be performed by percutaneous, endoscopic, or surgical interventions.
