Abstract
Radiosurgical practice requires recognition of noninvasive imaging biomarkers of target disease states, particularly in the oncologic setting where differentiation of treatment-related changes from tumor progression is critical. This chapter provides review of a variety of common benign and malignant intracranial lesions with particular attention to prognostic preoperative imaging features, common postoperative findings, and treatment-related complications. Supplemental online content includes detailed figures illustrating typical evolution of imaging findings, as well as several tables summarizing relevant imaging biomarkers.
