Abstract
With the increased adoption of minimally invasive techniques for the management of gastric pathology, the demand on the robotic surgeon to be able to offer complex resection and reconstruction solutions is more ever-present. Robot-assisted gastrectomy is an important and technically feasible tool but must be applied selectively and executed efficaciously. The chapter will provide a technical scaffold for the robot-assisted approach to a variety of gastric resections and reconstructions.
