Separation of the symphysis pubis in association with childbearing. A case report

Abstract

The case that we are reporting is that of a patient who had symptomatic diastasis of the symphysis pubis in association with childbearing. A review of the literature, aimed at making the orthopaedic surgeon more aware and capable of treating this problem, is also presented.
