Abstract

Three new lanostanoid triterpenes named 3β,7β-dihydroxy-11,15,23- trioxo-lanost-8,16-dien-26-oic acid (1), 3β,7β-dlhydroxy-11,15,23- trioxo-lanost-8,16-dien-26-oic acid methyl ester (2), and 12β-acetoxy- 3β7β-dihydroxy11,15,23-trioxo-lanost-8,16-dien-26-oic acid (3) were isolated from the fruit bodies of Ganoderma lucidum. They all show a Δ16,17 double bond unprecedented in such types of lanostanoid triterpenes possessing the side chain at C-17. The complete NMR assignments for these compounds were carried out using 1H, 13C, DEPT, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and ROESY NMR experiments.
