Abstract
The skin bank is a valuable resource in providing cadaveric allograft skin as a cover for partial-thickness and full-thickness burn injuries. After recovery from a donor, skin is tested for infection, processed, and frozen until needed. This chapter discusses the processing and use of allograft and amniotic membrane in the treatment of burn injury.
