Vaccines from a Global Perspective

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

This chapter looks at vaccine development and licensure from a global perspective. The vaccines needed and the formulation of vaccines will vary in different regions of the world. The economics of vaccine development are complex, and some developing countries need the assistance of private-public partnerships and product development partnerships to facilitate bringing vaccines to the marketplace. Each country regulates the use of both human and veterinary vaccines.
